HEAD
Here in Ephesians 6, we read about the full Armor of God. The apostle Paul compares it to getting ready for battle. He describes different pieces of armor like a belt of truth, a breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, a shield of faith, a helmet of salvation, and a sword of the Spirit, which is God's Word. Paul encourages us to pray and stay strong in our faith.
HEART
It’s important to understand that we are in a spiritual battle. Just like soldiers wear armor to protect themselves in a fight, we need to have spiritual armor to help us stay strong against tough times and challenges. This chapter teaches us that God has given us everything we need to fight against bad things and choose what's right. It reminds us to pray and trust God to help us through difficult moments.
HANDS
We must go into battle with our spiritual armor and put on the armor of God every day. When we trust God and believe in Him, it's like holding up a shield. Reading the Bible and learning about God's promises is like using the sword of the Spirit. We can also use our hands to pray for ourselves and others, asking God for strength and help.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for giving us the armor to stand strong against challenges. Help us to remember to put on each piece every day. Teach us to do what's right, show kindness, and pray when things are tough. Just like a brave soldier, may we stand strong with Your armor, trusting in Your power and love. In Jesus' name, amen.
